Final Project

To see how I made this beast of a being, check out my extended blog!

Facial Hair Appliance

This was my template for my mustache and eyebrows
I put down a base layer of latex and let it dry
I mixed together two different colors of crepe hair
Slowly but surely I would put on layer after layer of latex, place the ends of the hair on the wet latex, and pushed down on them with my sculpting tool, while pull the hair away.
Behold! The caterpillars!
I outlined the appliances and then put spirit gum on those areas
Also put spirit gum on the back of the appliances
While I waited for them to get gummy, I began to glue my real eyebrows.
Start putting them on!

Bruising and Scarring

Made the outline of the bruise using yellow
Began to find a contact point and focus any discoloration around it
Traced out the outline of my scar appliance, put spirit gum on both the spot of my cheek and the backside of the appliance itself, waited until they got gummy

Added some blood

Is it very noticeable????

Age Makeup

First i took my headshot...
Used wax paper to find all the natural lines for the wrinkles
Transferred the lines onto an acetate, and then added my shadow marks
Transferred wrinkle lines onto my face using makeup pencil (normally you use brown, but I only had black this day)
Added in highlight and shadow and blended as properly as possible to get those wrinkles
Greyed my eyebrows
 I'm old!
 Where's I put my glasses
 Oh God what is that?
